Merry Christmas everyone. I have been waiting for this and here it is. I hope that you all remember Jesus during this season. He is our savior and without him there would be nothing to celebrate. Sometimes I feel like there is no way my girls really understand what Christmas is about but as we talk more and more about Jesus' birth Haley gets this light in her eyes that is truly wonderful to see. Haley's favorite song is Away in a Manager. The only way for them to learn is if they are being taught so don't forget to teach your children of the love that night so many years ago. Something that I remember doing as a child that is still one of my favorite memories... we use to reenact Luke 2 on Christmas Eve. How wonderful are my parents to have thought to teach us that way. Thank you mom and dad. I only hope that the girls love doing it as much as I did. Make sure Christ is the center of your Christmas and you will have a Merry Christmas.

Recent struggles have turned me to the Lord. I found this and it made my heart jump. No matter what struggles I may have in life or with whom I will always have my family to love me and me to love them. John is an amazing man that I will always love. I love my two little angel girls. Motherhood
These words are uplifting and promising for any mother. We often times are tested to the limits with our children but with love and patients we will be blessed. Heavenly Father is an amazing person and loves each and everyone of us. He is always there ready for you to ask for anything you may be in need of all we have to do is ask.

Yummy Yummy
Everyone must try this cake it is so delicious. It brings together two great flavors (orange and raspberry) and is just a piece of heaven. The recipe is one of Giada De Laurentiis wonderful creations. Go HERE for the Recipe.

Make-up Remover
So I have never really liked buying make-up remover because sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Well, I found something that is not very expensive and works really well. Baby wipes. Now warning it does matter what kind of baby wipes you buy because some of them are rough and some of them don't remove the make up but most brands work. I personally use Huggies Soft Skin but that is partially because that is what we buy for our girls. Another warning it will stink your eyes so keep your eyes closed. This is something that I do every night before I go to bed. I love this one!

Why won't it go away?
I love this trick because there are so many out there. What is the best way to get the smell of garlic and onions off of your hands. I use to hate using either one because they left a horrible smell on your hands for days. Well, I have tested out all of the "tricks" that I could find out there and nothing really worked. That darn smell just sticks to you like glue. There was one that was close to working but it needed a little bit of help so this is what I came up with.
You will need:
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. of a citrus juice
and a stainless steel spoon
Place the baking soda and juice in the palm of your hand and rub it all over your hands especially under your nails. Then take the back side of the spoon and rub it all over your baking soda hands then turn the spoon over and use the tip of the spoon and get under your nails (that is the hardest place to get the smell to go away). Wash the mixture of your hands and repeat.
The smell will unfortunately still stick around under your nails for a few hours or so but it is not days. I hope that this trick comes in handy for everyone.
